Work and Career

Jupiter’s departure from your career sector on 29th December 2021 may have taken the planet of luck and expansion out of the game but he will have a huge impact on this professional year and in a way that is not normally the case. Jupiter will return to your career sector every 12 years and will spend around 12 months creating the potential for professional growth, expansion and new opportunities. If there is anything to criticise about Jupiter is that he can over promise and under deliver, mainly because once he leaves it is up to you to keep the momentum going. However, with Saturn staying on and not leaving until March 2023, this time you have the resolve and discipline to remain focused and to see things through.

It also helps that there is a lot of planetary activity on the career front in the early months of the year to capture the momentum and a lot more than is normally the case. As is the case each year, the Sun will move through from 20th January to 19th February, shining the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options. With Mercury here from 2nd January to 26th January, this will ensure you have your head in the game in the early weeks of this professional year. While Mercury will return for a double dip visit from 15th February to 10th March and this alone will extend things out, it is after the Sun leaves that the real magic begins.

It happens in one fell swoop when held back by a retrograde phase Venus finally returns on 6th March, with Mars returning for the first time in nearly two years on the same day. With Venus here until 6th April and Mars until 15th April, what normally runs its course with the Sun’s departure in February is only just getting started by that point. It is once Mars leaves that Saturn will be on his own in your career sector and it will stay that way for the rest of the year. However, both career and job matters will get a boost when the Sun, Mercury and Venus return to your work sector. It begins with Mercury’s return on 26th August, with a retrograde turn on 10th September not only keeping him here until 24th September but will see him retrograde back out, only to return from 11th October to 30th October. During that time the Sun and Venus will move through, making 26th August to 30th October the most active months of the year on the job front.
