Work and Career

As the year begins with no planetary activity in your career sector and Uranus in retrograde motion in your work sector, things might be fairly quiet as you move into the New Year but it won’t stay that way for long. Unlike your work sector, where Uranus will be a constant presence from 2019 to 2026, there is no planetary activity in your career sector until the second half of the year and even then, without Mars visiting this year, the main focus is on work and job matters this year. Yet even by those standards, this is destined to be a standout year, to the point where this is the year everything will come alive and in one fell swoop on 19th January. Within the space of just a few hours, first Uranus turns direct and then the North Node returns, for the first time in 17 years.

Uranus’ direct turn was always going to release the brakes but with the Sun not returning until April it can take that long to gain any real momentum. However, the North Node returns to not only provide a sense of direction but momentum, just as the brakes have been released. This is something that the North Node will continue to do until leaving in July 2023 but this will also determine where the eclipses will fall. The first will be a solar eclipse on 1st May, in the heart of the Sun’s month long visit from 20th April to 21st May. It is six months later that a total lunar eclipse on 9th November will once again galvanise work and job matters. However, it is after the Sun moves through that things will really start to take off on the job front.

Held back by a retrograde phase, Venus won’t return to your work sector until 29th May while a retrograde phase will keep Mercury here until 14th June, long after the Sun has moved through. Until she leaves on 23rd June, Venus will continue to attract opportunities. However, yet again there is more to come, with Mars’ return from 5th July to 20th August ushering in the third and most powerful wave of planetary activity on the job front. Auspiciously, Mars will be here when Mercury returns to your career sector on 4th August. This will see Mars’ final days in your work sector overlap the early days of all planetary activity on the career front for the year, which will run its course on 11th October. In that time the Sun, Mercury and Venus will move through, all moving into a friendly aspect to Uranus in your career sector as they do.
